MEET JOSEPH SCARDINO

Joseph Scardino is an author, creator, and lifelong South Jersey resident whose writing is shaped by family, community, humor, and the experiences of growing up in suburban New Jersey. He is the creator and author of Pebble Lane Kids, a fictional world inspired in part by the people, friendships, and experiences of his childhood.

Joseph earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School after receiving a B.A. in Economics and Finance from Rutgers University, where he was inducted into multiple national honor societies. His background spans law, finance, athletics, coaching, and writing, with lifelong interests in baseball, wrestling, and gymnastics.

In addition to his work as an author, Joseph is a full-time caregiver for his mother, an experience that has deepened his perspective on family, memory, resilience, and the importance of the seemingly ordinary moments people carry with them throughout their lives.

Joseph lives in South Jersey, not far from the communities and neighborhoods that continue to influence his writing.
